I got a fair number of communications requesting support from people who were treating this project as if it were a product. It is not. This project is intended for developers to learn about one possible way to integrate Zip compression with SharePoint.
I also got a fair number of people who were under the impression that this project represents a production-ready solution. This is not the case. This project is intended for developer education, not for deployment to production systems. This project has some known limitation including: no support for forms-based authentication, lack of support for large files (over 30 BM), nor support for load-balanced SharePoint web front end servers.
